Every year after Christmas I begin to think about getting rid of stuff and organizing my apartment. This year, I decided to tackle my jewelry first. I keep most of it hidden away in a cupboard in my bedroom, but realized there are much nicer and unique ways to store jewelry where it can also serve as beautiful decor! I scoured my house for a few items, got a little inspiration from Pinterest and I was ready to organize in style!
Here is what I used:
Vintage Tea Cups
Of course I already had a few of these on hand! I love vintage tea cups but I am more of a coffee drinker than a tea drinker. Coffee out of a tea cup just isn’t the same! It’s like they were made for jewelry storage not tea drinking!
Dollar Store Gift Boxes
I have had these old boxes kicking around for years. I got them at the dollar store on the cheap but you could never tell! They are so pretty and stack nicely for a lovely height adding display.
Small Bowls
A good place to get these tiny bowls with lovely floral designs on them is China town! A lot of shops will sell these bowls for soy sauce and various kinds of foods, but they also work great for storage! I got mine many years back so I don’t remember how much I paid, but I am sure it was under ten bucks. Bowls would also be a beautiful way to organize and different craft supplies.
